Way back in 1996, when I was only a few months old, little did I know that Bill Gates had sealed my fate. How? Bill Gates wrote an essay titled “Content Is King,” and boy was he right!
From YouTube becoming the go-to media engine to companies growing exponentially through the use of content, it’s no secret that content truly does reign supreme and now consumes every waking moment of my life… and yours too.
But not all content is created equal, and that’s where Dark Matter comes in. Our superpower is to create Content-Led Companies. But why is content so important?
Content is what people turn to in moments of need. Think about it, if you have a question, you most likely turn to Google. If you need entertainment, you most likely turn to YouTube. Here’s the kicker, those questions and videos are someone else’s content.
That’s why content is so important. It provides education, gives insights, and entertains. But most importantly, we learn and grow from each other. As a result, we grow personally, and so do our businesses.
