TASKA Prosthetics

TASKA Prosthetics builds rugged bionic hands in Christchurch and sells them through clinicians worldwide. Its marketing team needed video doing several jobs at once, teaching prosthetists how to fit and service the hands, showing users what the technology can do, and carrying the brand onto trade show stands overseas, all in one consistent visual language, and at a volume no single in-house producer could sustain.

Dark Matter worked as TASKA’s embedded video team. We filmed on site at their Christchurch facility and built a template system that scaled across Tech Tips, instructions-for-use guides, product and sales films, fabrication walkthroughs and user testimonials, plus event cuts for AOPA and OT World, and partner-branded versions for distributors. Drafts ran through a shared review platform and finals landed directly in TASKA’s asset library, ready to publish.

The result was a library of dozens of videos, each one recognisably part of the same system. As of May 2026, our partnership with TASKA has concluded whilst they build their in-house video team. That being said, we’re super proud of the work we created with them over the two and a half years.
